Can anyone tell me why this case ever came to court when everything was documented by the accused from start to finish.
The police and the crown seem to have thrown more money at this case than they would have had to pay out in rewards.
From what I have read in the media and your column these guys are just victims of police negligence
and corruption from the likes of Dalrymple and others who conspire to hijack the system for their own benefits and care nothing at all for probably innocent individuals.
I can reason with the five to return a masterpiece and make (a well) deserved reward as the police where nowhere near to finding it and it may have been lost forever.......who know's.
In summary the crown should just hold their hands up,pay the reward and investigate the DUKES involvement as he is no bystander in this matter.
